We usually see patients on Fridays and Saturdays but can absolutely be flexible. When you click on the "book an appointment" button, it directs you to Optimantra which is our electronic medical record. You can choose your time based on our availability there however, if none of those appointment times work for you, please reach out to us at info@restorevitalityim.com or call at 201-500-3029 and let us know your availability and we will do our best to accommodate you. We can also fit patients in for early morning or early evening appointments. Just ask!

We take your credit card information and save it to your file. 48 hours prior to your appointment, your credit card will be charged for the full amount of your visit. This ensures that patients keep their appointment and adhere to our cancellation policy. It is unfair to other patients if a patient keeps taking appointment slots but does not actually show up for the appointment. Time is valuable for all of us!

Absolutely! That's the beauty of seeing a nurse practitioner-I can order labs and diagnostic tests as needed. There is no hassle of going to another provider to order testing. As a nurse practitioner, I'm skilled in interpreting lab and other test results. Most patients need a detective to sort through all of the labs and diagnostic testing that they've already had and I love using my skills as a diagnostician to determine what additional testing you may need.

Gini has two certifications in diabetes-She is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (formerly known as the Certified Diabetes Educator role) and she is Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management which means that she has passed a rigorous exam that demonstrates her expertise in diabetes management.

Patients who have diabetes are often confused by what to eat, how to exercise, why their blood sugar is elevated or low, how to avoid complications. Gini will help clear up any confusion you may have.

She is well versed in diabetes technology and will be able to work with you to find patterns in your blood sugar that are evident on your continuous glucose monitor. If you choose to, Gini can consult directly with your endocrinologist.

Gini Varghese, our nurse practitioner, is licensed in New Jersey and New York and for now sees patients in New Jersey. She will be soon be able to see patients in New York also.
